Company Profile
We are a member of the international VSK MINING GROUP and have been active in the natural crushed aggregate market for more than 15 years.
Our production is mainly intended for the production of asphalt mixtures, for concrete, for track beds, water management structures and other purposes according to individual customer requirements.
11 quarries in Slovakia
We can also offer our customers interesting architectural stone. We hold mining and quarrying licenses for 15 mining areas and quarries.
We currently operate 11 quarries mainly in eastern Slovakia. Two quarries are established in central Slovakia.
Emphasis on quality
We are one of the largest producers of crushed aggregates without engineering construction production. The quality of our products is constantly monitored by our in-house laboratory in cooperation with accredited laboratories. We also offer its services to other external companies. We hold a number of certificates from notified persons.
Social responsibility
The primary goal of our company is the quality of the products and services we offer and the creation of permanent jobs in the regions where we operate. In the extraction of mineral resources, we place great emphasis on sustainable development in line with environmental protection.
Testing laboratory
Laboratory
We operate a testing laboratory, which, in addition to quality control of products manufactured in the company, focuses on services in the field of construction products in quarries (carrying out production control tests of natural aggregate products for aggregate producers, professional and consultancy activities in the field of application of in-house control/production management system, assistance in the marketing of construction products).
The laboratory is located in the premises of the company VSK s.r.o., Novoveská cesta 17, 053 31 Spišská Nová Ves – Novoveská Huta, in the administrative building on the 1st floor.

We consider quality management and quality assurance to be one of the company’s primary objectives.
The basic objective of the quality concept in the face of ever-increasing customer requirements is to create such working conditions that all employees of the company are involved in the process of building and improving the quality system in an effort to achieve:

ISO certification
We have a Quality Management System in place, which addresses the process approach within customer-supplier relationships and thus ensures continuous improvement of the quality of products and services offered with a view to continuously increasing customer satisfaction.
We are a holder of the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate. We have been repeatedly evaluated as a Reliable Public Sector Partner for several years in a row.
Production management system
In our plants we apply the Production Management System in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation – CPR (Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC) and Act of the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic No 133/2013 Coll. on Construction Products and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts, as amended.
